About Me
Alexandra “Sasha” Dreyer
MNutDiet, DipHlthSc, MA, BA. Accredited Practising Dietitian, Consultant Dietitian, Nutritionist.
I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Nutritionist, with experience across private practice, community, and virtual settings, supporting a wide range of individuals. I have also completed certification through Monash University to support individuals with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) using the Low FODMAP diet.
My background blends both clinical and performance nutrition. Before becoming a dietitian, I worked as a professional ballet dancer, an experience that shaped my deep respect for the body and my understanding of how nutrition supports both health and performance.
That experience continues to influence how I practice today. I believe nutrition should feel supportive, realistic, and sustainable. It should fit into your life, not take it over.
I work with a broad range of clients, with particular interests in gastrointestinal health, geriatrics, overall health and wellbeing, building a positive relationship with food, and supporting those managing chronic health conditions. My approach focuses on practical, evidence-based strategies that are tailored to you.
At the core of my work are values of compassion, balance, and evidence-based care. I take the time to understand you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms or goals. That’s why my initial consultations are one hour, not 10 minutes.
My approach is gentle, non-judgmental, and focused on creating lasting change that feels achievable.
If you’d like to learn more about where I practice, you can scroll down on the home page, visit the FAQ section, or click the button below.
Outside of work, I enjoy slowing down and recharging. You’ll often find me at Pilates or a ballet class, on a walk with friends and a coffee in hand (weather permitting), or enjoying a little time for beauty and skincare.
